Bear D.- 9 year old Black Labrador



7/31/14 - *fighting cancer and Labrador Harbor is helping through Bear's Hope Fund

Bear had a malignant tumor removed in June and his family was referred to The Angel Care Cancer Care Center for further treatment. The Center has recommended the Oncept Vaccine, which we have seen to work with other Labs with this type of cancer. This treatment is extremely expensive and his family does not have the means to cover the cost. The vaccine is distributed in 4 doses over time and the cost is around $2,900. Bear will also need booster shots every six months following the initial round of treatment. Please reach out to help this sweet kid today.

Ziva- 1 year old Yellow Labrador



7/20/14

Ziva is a sweet little girl diagnosed with histplasmosis. The medication to treat this is very expensive and her family simply cannot afford the cost. She will require 4 more months of medication to complete the treatment and each 2 month supply costs $794.00. When she first became sick she weighed about 40lbs. Since the first 2 month round of medication she has gained 20lbs and is doing very well. Can you reach out to help her get the remaining medication she needs to recover completely?

Lucy L.- 11 month old Yellow Labrador

This young girl is in need of TTA surgery to repair both of her back legs. This is an extremely expensive procedure and her mom does not have the means to cover the full cost. Brownie- 7 year old Chocolate Labrador

Brownie has a tumor growing in his throat that is causing him distress and needs to be removed. He also need an ACL surgery to get him up and running again. The cost of both these procedures is more than his mom has available. Please reach out help this sweet boy today. Chase- 8 month old Yellow Labrador

Chase fell out of his moms arms as she was carrying him, and broke his leg from the fall. The vet was able to repair the leg, but she his mom currently has over $1000 due to the vet. Please reach out to help this loving family today.

Lola- 8 month old Black Labrador

Lola has a fracture of her left tibia. The injury has been bandaged by the vet and she is being treated with pain meds and rest until her mom can gather the funds needed to fix the injury. Lola will either need to have the leg stabilized with bone plates and screws, or have her little le amputated. We are asking our generous donors to reach out and help this tiny little girl back to full health.

Rocket- 8 year old Black Labrador

Labrador Harbor was able to help with a grant that afforded Rocket's mom to re-check the tumor and it's growth. His mom reported to us:
"I am so happy to report that the tumor has remained stable and there are no signs of metastatic lesions in his lungs and his heart, which means he is an excellant candidate for the splenotomy."

Bowser- 2 year old Black Labrador

Bowser is suffering from grand mal and cluster seizures. His mom has been trying to control the seizures with medication, but they are getting progressively worse and he will need extensive and expensive diagnostic tests to determine the exact cause and treatment plan. His mom simply does not have the funds to cover the costs for testing. She is not giving up on him, he saved her life now she is intent on saving his. Please reach out to help this family today. Hunter- 11 year old Yellow Labrador

Gauge- 6 year old Yellow Labrador



12/16/13

Gauge's vet diagnosed this sweet boy with fracture/chipped bone in his front leg. Surgery will need to be provided by an orthopedic vet, who will also need to re-examine Gauge and get new sets of x-rays prior to surgery. Labrador Harbor has offered to help with a small amount towards the final surgery, but we cannot help with diagnostic costs for the orthopedic visit. Gauge's mom is in desperate need of help from our generous donors to help get her boy back to health and running again. Reach out to help them today.

Ben V.- 7 year old Black Labrador

Ben's mom spent over $1,000.00 just to get a confirmed diagnosis on what was wrong with him. Ben was diagnosed with Valley Fever (very rare in dogs in the California region). The medications alone to help get back to normal health are very expensive. His family is still looking at more follow up tests to confirm he is at full health. Buddy T.- 7 year old Black Labrador



11/25/13 - *military family - support our troops - Labrador Harbor helping through Bear's Hope Fund

Buddy was limping to the point where he could no longer put weight on his leg. Vet determined he had 2 bone lesions which were indicative of bone cancer. Vets at Veterinary Specialty Hospital have recommended amputation and chemotherapy. His mom is in college and his dad is deployed on active duty. Please reach out to help this young boy today.

Karly- 1 year old Lab Mix

Karly is too young to need a surgery to correct the patella luxation caused by hip dysplasia, but that is what she is facing and her family cannot afford the surgery without our help.
