Trixie is suffering from laryngeal paralysis, and is in desperate need of tie-back surgery. Her mom rescued her and is dedicated to getting Trixie the surgery she needs, but the cost is more than she can afford on her own. Labrador Harbor is helping with a grant donation, and Trixie's mom has started an additional fundraising page, but she is still short of funds for surgery. Brody was hit by a car and suffered injuries to his back leg. Unfortunately the injury was misdiagnosed by the initial treating vet and the treatment, while costly, did not help Brody. His mom did find a vet that accurately diagnosed the injury and treated the ruptured Achilles' tendon. Brody is recovering well, but his mom is faced with additional costs of follow up treatments that she cannot afford. Please reach out to help Brody today.

Soara was rescued by All Aboard Animal Search and Rescue when a woman dropped him off at the organization saying his leg was injured. AAASR had Soara examined and the vet found Soara had a torn ACL and a tumor on his right foot. AAASR needs help to cover the cost of the expensive surgery to help get this boy back to his playful self and adopted out to a new forever home. Can you reach out to help cover some of the cost of the $1400.00 surgery? Labrador Harbor is offering a grant, but it is not enough to cover the full cost.

Update 3/2/13

Duke began limping after playing ball in January 2013. After a visit to his regular vet, his family was advised to see a surgery consultant immediately. That exam found that Duke had fully torn his left knee ligament and needed immediate surgery. The surgery cost was over $5000, money the family did not have at the time. Through some donation from other organizations they were able to get a balance they could then cover with credit cards, but this has put the family in financial hardship. They continue to hold garage sales and other fund raising events to help pay the vet bill. Can you reach out with a donation to help Duke's family today?

Update 10/14/12

Max's family adopted him from a local shelter. They then took him to a clinic for his neuter. Several days later, his scrotum began to swell. They took the poor little kid to a local vet who drained the area and provided anti-biotic's. A few weeks later the swelling came back. Max now needs a $700+ surgery to permanently correct the problem. Labrador Harbor is offering a grant to help towards the procedure, but Max's family still needs additional funds. A few months ago Bruin started limping and when his family had him neutered, they also took x-rays to find out what was wrong with his leg. Vet confirmed that this young guy needs a TPO surgery to regain the use of his leg. His family is trying to raise the funds for the expensive procedure and is hoping to be able to have enough funds raised within the next few months. Update 2/27/12

Tiki became lethargic, was vomiting and not eating so her family took her to the emergency room. After a few trips to the vet it was determined that she had an obstruction in her stomach/small intestine. While recovering from TPLO surgery on his left knee, Barron tore the cruciate ligament of his right knee and now needs a TPLO surgery on that leg.
